The Colts dominance over the Titans persists!
The Colts’ 38-14 victory over the Titans marks the third consecutive season they have swept the Titans.
The Indianapolis Colts (7-1) won big against the Tennessee Titans 38-14, who are having a tough time with a 1-7 record. This win shows how strong the Colts have been this season and how they continue to beat the Titans. For the third year in a row, the Colts have won all their games against the Titans.
The Colts offense initially struggled but maintained their trend of scoring drives when kicker Michael Badgley successfully kicked a 43-yard field goal. Running back Jonathan Taylor continues to play at an MVP level after his third consecutive hat-trick game against the Titans, setting an NFL record. He added 12 carries for 153 rushing yards. Quarterback Daniel Jones contributed with another impressive performance, 21 of 29 for 272 yards and three touchdowns, and was sacked three times. One of his touchdowns came on a one-handed touchdown catch by Michael Pittman Jr., who had 95 receiving yards.
Rookie Cam Ward continues to struggle to get things going as the Colts pass rush got to him four times. He added 22 of 38 for 259 yards with one touchdown and one interception, but the game took a turn with interim coach Mike McCoy electing not to go for it on 4th down, which led to a Taylor 80-yard touchdown run on the Colts’ first drive in the second half to put the game out of reach. Running back Tyjae Spears rushed for 59 yards and a touchdown on 9 carries. Also, fellow rookie Chimere Dike had a great game, catching 7 passes for 93 yards.
